Find your path. Launch your career.
1:1 career coaching for high school students (sophomore year forward) choosing their direction, and college students landing their first real job. Led by Dr. Kevin Cooper, who built a career across multiple industries and helps students find their fit in a fraction of the time.

For High Schoolers
Choose your direction before the tuition check. Start sophomore year and every course, club, and summer builds toward a goal. Most students pick a major by guessing. Yours won't.

The degree gets you the interview. This gets you the job.
Explore LaunchpadThe most expensive decision teens make is made with the least guidance.
About 75% of college students start undecided or change their major at least once.
1 in 3 students picks a major that's a poor fit for their interests and abilities.
A wrong major can cost a full year of tuition. Career clarity is the cheapest insurance on your college investment.
The go Prep Career Compass
One proven process, tailored to where your student is on the journey.
01
Discover
Before the first session, students complete the College Board's free BigFuture Career Quiz and share their results, then we go deeper with a structured 1:1 inventory of strengths, interests, values, and work styles.
02
Decide
Turn the quiz results and inventory into a shortlist of real careers, majors, or target roles, with honest talk about what those jobs pay and what the work is actually like, pressure-tested against how those industries really operate.
03
Do
A concrete action plan delivered in writing: course selection and experience-building for high schoolers, or resume, LinkedIn, interviews, and networking for grads. Where it fits, Kevin makes warm introductions to professionals in his network who work in the student's fields of interest.
Every student finishes with a written Career Compass Report: their strengths, their shortlist, and their plan, in a document parents can hold.

I found my passion the long way. Your student doesn't have to.
I've built a career across five industries: consumer marketing, retail, technology, healthcare, and education. Every move taught me something about what work fits and what doesn't, and what hiring managers actually look for.
Most career advice comes from people who've had one career. I've had several. That perspective is exactly what a 17-year-old choosing a major, or a 22-year-old facing their first job search, needs in their corner.

Nobody teaches you this in school. Figure out what you're actually good at, what kinds of work fit you, and what to study, before you commit four years and a lot of money to a guess.
You're about to make a six-figure investment. Pathfinder makes sure your student walks onto campus with a direction, not a shrug. And the earlier you start, the more it compounds: a sophomore with a direction picks better courses, better activities, and better summers for two full years before applications.
