I received a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2020. I knew that teaching was common for math degrees, so I started as a tutor. I found that I enjoyed the experience, so I continued to pursue education careers over the next few years. One of the most important lessons I learned is that everyone learns differently. I believe that building relationships with students is essential to understanding how they learn and helping them achieve their academic potential.
