About

With 16 years of experience teaching mathematics at the middle school, high school, and college levels, I bring both deep content knowledge and a student-centered approach to tutoring. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Leadership. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse learners, including students with learning differences, across a variety of educational settings, both in-person and online, adapting instruction to meet individual student needs and learning styles. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student can succeed in math with patience, encouragement, and the right approach. I teach through a culturally aware lens, valuing students’ diverse backgrounds and experiences while creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment. I focus on building conceptual understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills so students feel comfortable asking questions and growing as learners.
